Have you heard about Martha McQuade’s Scarfshop? She makes the most beautiful scarves, dyed by hand with water-based dyes. I actually gave one of her Colorblocks scarf to my Mom for her birthday (I think?) in blue/grey because that color combination reminded me of the ocean. The scarf is just as beautiful in-person as it is online (and I imagine the same is true of the cotton scarves too). And the color of her scarves – so rich and beautiful. I love that she offers her scarves in five lengths. Five! Have I ever mentioned how much I love scarves? It’s kind of a weird thing…I just can’t stand when my neck gets cold. Someone in a meeting last week joked that they had worked with me for five+ years and weren’t sure I even had a neck (the room we always meet in is cold, cold, cold). Oh and the all-time best thing about these scarves – there is an option to purchase a color-of-the-month. I’m a sucker for any gift I can buy myself twelve times a year! Not the least of which, I think January’s color is almost the same beautiful blue-green color that we just painted our guest room (pictures to come soon), so I guess it was meant to be!

Yes-I think the colors of my scarf are awesome-just like the ocean-I agree! Well-You do have a neck-a good-looking one too!I also hate having a cold neck-left over from skiing.My neck was always cold!

Hi Shelby! Okay your comment made my day, seriously! I’m so glad you love the new design – I didn’t do an announcement (now I’m thinking I should have), but yeah, I LOVE it. It’s just part of the big changes I have in store for this here blog. And yeah, I love your blog too! And it’s changed so much since I started reading…I especially love your posts with the multiple pictures – how are you doing those collages? So pretty!
