2013 Goal

2013 Goal

So, hi again. I am heading for the homework finish line and now I want to talk about a goal I have for 2013. Whew! Saving the best for last because this one is scary. Okay, so remember in my last post I talked about design changing the world? I really, truly believe it. I think there is nothing better than feeling happy in your own home. And the more comfortable you feel, the better you feel about yourself. One of my big goals for 2013 is to help other people feel this same way too. I’ve had a couple ideas here and there about actually how to do this, but I would love to have the opportunity to be invited into peoples’ homes to help them work on the design of their spaces. Okay now that I got that out there I might as well keep going – one of my true secret (until now) goals is to donate my time and abilities to an organization that needs help designing and decorating spaces for families who are less fortunate and need help. I am determined to make these dreams happen in 2013! So what goals are you (already) thinking about for the New Year?
Love, Kristen

Thanks Mary! It’s funny now that I got my huge goal out there publicly I just want to spend all my time hiding under my desk, ha! But it was very gratifying to actually say it out loud. And agreed about that picture! I was searching through old images to just grab something quickly and I took that at our local IKEA I think sometime around the holidays last year, so I’m sure the celebration aspect was intentional! :-)
