I don’t know, I mentioned the idea yesterday about maybe not writing captions for these posts (especially because when I create my book of 365 Days in Pictures there won’t be captions – although that’s because everyone looking at the entire printed book will know what they are looking at! Of course, I hope by then you all will too)!
Anyway, until then though I think I will write captions just so you get to understand a little more about my life and the influence of design! So this is my Carl (taken deliberately in a blurry fashion – still trying to learn how to use the manual settings on my camera properly, ha) , in front of our house decorated with Christmas lights (it finally snowed a tiny bit this week, and I just couldn’t take them down yet!), on his beloved motorbike. Motorbike you say? Yeah, it’s the word for motorcycle used in most European countries and we just love the way it sounds! In addition to the fact we would love to live there. Although we all know we’re going to New York next!
But back to design…this motorbike is a recreation of a 1960s-style vintage bike and is just a beautiful piece of machinery full of deep maroon and shiny metal accents. It really would look quite perfect zipping around a city! While it doesn’t quite match the inside of our garage, the green cover does. But of course!
